Reconfigured to satisfy states with magazine capacity restrictions, the 10rd Springfield Armory Prodigy takes the proven 1911 platform and enhances it with a double-stack design and performance-driven feature set. The polymer grip module mounts to a forged steel frame that features an ambidextrous thumb safety and an integrated Picatinny rail, while the 5″ heavy bull barrel is fitted to a forged steel slide that employs AOS (Agency Optic System) plates designed exclusively for the 1911 DS. Machined from billet steel, each plate is designed specifically to deliver proper optic height for an intuitive sight picture and features an integral rear sight. The Gear Pac includes a Viridian RFX11 green dot optic, four magazines and a pistol bag.
