This Buttstock Assembly has extensive adjustment capability to fit most shooters for comfort and repeatable accuracy. The length-of-pull (LOP) adjustment is 3.5 (12 to 15.5 on standard models; 13 to 16.5 on magnum models). The cheek rest has a linear adjustment of 2-3/4 and a vertical adjustment of 3/4″. Recoil pad vertical adjustment is 1.25. The buttstock is reverse compatible with all previous Ruger Precision Rifle generations and is also compatible with other firearms with MIL-SPEC buffer tubes. It includes a QD sling pocket that supports attachment of a sling for convenient carrying and an M-LOK slot on the flat bottom to support the installation of a bag slider for optimal rifle positioning. The stock has no sharp edges or corners for enhanced comfort. The stock is constructed from steel, aluminum and nylon with hard-coat anodized and nitride finishes for strength and durability and weighs 1.8 lbs.
