The Certified Special is a monolithic trigger featuring a pivot safety for a clean engagement, encouraging consistent trigger breaks. The trigger is USPSA approved, and permitted in IPSC Standard, Optics, and Open divisions. The Certified Special delivers three key improvements on the ACE Trigger System. A small feature on the lever module that helps range officers verify the lever safety is functioning properly. The trigger also features an updated backplate with a relief pocket that increases clearance to the striker under extreme shock conditions.
