With these, you can hunt with your Mosin Nagant. It won't expand like a Hornaday SST, but the soft point will transfer enough energy to stop everything this side of a wilderbeast. The bad news is the accuracy isn't as good as I hoped. The Silver Bear I shoot in my SKS out performs most other new manufacture Russian. This does not. Ironically, WPA Military Classic grouped better. Acceptable, but not great. Regardless, be ready to have your shoulder beaten. That 203 grain bullet makes for an even stiffer recoil. Also remember that heavier bullets usually have a higher point of impact than standard weights. Especially in longer barrel Milliseconds longer in the barrel = muzzle climb. Reliable, affordable and not too dirty.
