Details

Nosler Trophy Grade ammunition is high quality, production-run ammunition manufactured to strict tolerances and inspected as it is hand-packaged. Trophy Grade features Nosler Custom brass and the dependable, high performing bullets you know and trust.

This Trophy Grade ammunition is loaded with Nosler's AccuBond bonded core bullet. Through a proprietary bonding process that eliminates voids in the bullet core, AccuBond marries Nosler's traditional copper-alloy jacket with its special lead-alloy core. The result is a bullet that flies true, penetrates deep, won't cause extensive barrel fouling, and will retain 60-70% of its weight. The white polymer tip helps protect against deformation while initiating expansion upon impact.

    Review by Howard (WA)

I recently used this ammunition on a cow elk depradation hunt. The bullet performed superbly. Expansion wasn't an issue because I made a head shot and the bullet only had the thickness of the skull to expand so the exit hole wasn't extremely large (about twice the size of the entry hole). The trauma resulted in a quick humane kill which always makes me happy. The impact nearly flipped a 600lb (weight is approx.) on it's back. Having spent some time at the range with these bullets first, I felt confident in taking the shot I did because they grouped well and flew true. I would not have taken the shot with other bullets because of their erradic nature or larger grouping which is not ideal for making head shots. I also have confidence in my shooting abilities because I spend a fair amount of time at the range. I do my own reloading (I recently acquired the .264 Win Mag and didn't have any of my own ammo loaded so I used factory ammo) and typically only load two bullet types and one of them is the Nosler Accubond! I would recommend this bullet to a friend.
