Excellent ammunition, at a reasonable price, 1" or less 100 yard grouping, devastating round on Whitetail at all reasonable ranges!

This is a accurate load, out of my Savage Model 116 , I have only taken 2 Whitetail with it, 1 was a 13 pt. , 180 lb. field dressed buck, at 90 yards. The only shot I could get was a strong quartering away when he stopped at 90 yards, put a 139 gr. pill into his shoulder,,looked like the ground was jerked out from under him, never even flinched. Also took a average sized doe at 110 yards, hit further back than intended on a broadside shot as she walked in between cover, but she was down within 15 feet of the shot, despite my poorly placed shot..
I have tried the Hornady 139gr. American Whitetail, Remington 150gr Core Lokts, and Hornady 139 gr. Superformance thus far, all were plenty accurate but the 139 gr. American Whitetail load was the most accurate load tried easily grouping under 1 inch at 100 yards for several 3 shot groups.. The other loads hovered around 1 " also but the AW proved to be more accurate and more pleasant to shoot from the bench.. I have been planning on reloading for my rifle and have all the components on hand, but health issues have prevented me from doing so, but I plan on working up a good load before next season, Lord willing?
I prefer to hunt with my own personal handloads but I will be hard pressed to better the consistency and accuracy of this very affordable factory load..Excellent ammunition at a reasonable price.
