Marlin 1895 lever, iron sights 2 to 3 dead bulls eyes per 5 at 50 yards no effort required and all 5 in the 3" circle every time. Nailed a 1 foot hanging steel disc at 200 yards 5 for 5 time after time. Same gun same day with Winchester and Remington and maybe 2 or 3 out of 5 at 200 yards and nary a bull's eye at 50 yards. Ammo was the only thing different. I won't shoot anything else from now on in the Marlin. Hornady are good people on the phone also. I am working on getting a hand loading rig together for these and they spent 1/2 hr on the phone with me twice without batting an eye helping me be sure I had everything I need AND talked me out of getting several things I didn't need. Not many companies will do that these days.

Shoots sub MOA in my Marlin 1895G. Last two deer dropped on the spot. GREAT ammo. I won't shoot anything else now.

I bought the MR 45/70 Pistol to ammo match my 45/70 Marlin Rifle. This ammo works well in both firearms. Right out of the box with the pistol (20 rounds), I had all kill shots and 1 out of 5 bulls eyes at 50 yards. With the rifle w/scope, I hit centers or near centers every shot. Only problem was 3 out of 40 rounds split the cases. Thats the only resin I didn't give 5 stars. Never had that happen with Remington but never had that kind of accuracy either.
