I've used the CCI Maxi-Mag Hollow Points for years when predator calling fox or coon. Out to 100, maybe 125 yards, they're deadly on these smaller predators... And, while I don't recommend the .22 Magnum for larger predators such as coyote or bobcat, if you keep your shots inside of 50 yards, and use good shot placement, it works fairly well on them as well....... Now, the CCI Maxi-Mag Hollow Points often kill smaller, edible game, like squirrels or bunny rabbits, "a bit deader than necessary", but by switching to the CCI solids and only taking head shots, that problem is eliminated, and you're set up for some tasty table fare..................... In all, I've found the CCI Maxi-Mag cartridges to be accurate, and plenty powerful enough for the tasks I've needed them for.
